Job Description

This position requires versatility and adaptability; team members will learn every aspect that fast casual restaurant operations entail. Tasks will comprise of:

  • Creating custom poke bowls and pokerritos and serving customers with the utmost service (This is the majority of what the job entails).

  • Daily food prep to ensure the freshest ingredients.

  • Operating the POS & third-party tablets

  • High attention to cleanliness through maintaining a pristine kitchen, service line, and lobby.

  • Dish washing, stocking, receiving inventory, lifting items up to 50lbs, etc.

  • Opening and/or closing store tasks

No experience is expected; employee will be thoroughly trained in each area.

Opportunities for an increased role, such as Shift Leads or Managers, will be available to those who truly take ownership of their position, and show the desire and ability to take on a leadership role.

Those who feel qualified to start as a Shift Lead, and are interested in assuming a lead role, please specify when applying.

Flexible Schedule

We understand the rigors of balancing work with school or other activities. With that, we always try to be flexible and understanding of employee availability and scheduling. We work with employees' schedules to ensure the best fit for both employees and Oke Poke.

Qualifications & Training

There is no experience required. New hires will undergo a training period in which they will learn everything necessary in ensuring employee success.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age. Must provide work permit if under 18.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit upon hiring.
